'O Gin I Were a Baron's Heir'

Hi - one of my absolute favourite traditional scots slow airs is this 'O Gin I Were a Baron's Heir'. It's an old love lament, and is absolutely beautiful. I've written it out with simplified bass + chords and melody. I first heard it played by the great Sir Jimmy Shand on the DVD 'Dancing with the Shands'. Sir Jimmy played it as a melodeon solo - and indeed I too play it as a melodeon solo in F. Here for accordion it is in Bb.

I hope you fall in love with it just as I have!
