Anyone familiar with the Microvox accordion pick up system model M310 ? It has a strip of mics that velcros to the grille plus one for the bass side and has it`s own power supply.
The Button Box in Sunderland Ma has them for about $200.
I thought it to be a neat inexpensive way to electrify your accordion with the option to easily remove and put it on another.
Here`s a link to the mic systems there. Comments welcome.

I know one guy who plays in a band that uses this same pickup system.
I`ll have to give him a call and see for myself what they sound like. I think he uses a wireless setup with it.
It looks like it would be a good solution for those who have more than one accordion. The bonus is it doesn`t require holes drilled in the case, just velcro strips to attach it .

Looks like a nice solution. Not sure I quite understand the differences between their m300 and m400 series though...

It looks like the M400 is a single mic and these can be used in pairs for a concertina.
The 300 series is a bar containing maybe 3 mics and a power supply. The 400 series bar doesn`t have a power supply. It would be an extra.
